Obituary of Patrick Henry Chambers

It is with great sadness that the family of Patrick Henry Chambers must announce his passing on Wednesday, December 20, 2023.  Pat passed away at the age of 66 at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital Center in Moncton with his family by his side.

Born in Coburg, Ontario on September 14, 1957, he was the son of the late Pauline Marie (Goodwin) and Henry Chambers.

Pat was an easy going and kind man and he loved animals, especially the kitties. He was very talented, a wonderful and successful artist and a writer of short stories. Pat loved any genre of music and he even joined Joni at several Pearl Jam concerts over the years. He always had a camera or video camera in his hands and was always capturing the special moments and fun people were having at special events. Most importantly, Pat loved his family, especially the children and grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Pat will be lovingly remembered by his spouse of 33 years, Joni Phillips of Cape Tormentine, NB; his sister, Barbara Parks of Bowmanville, Ontario; his brother, Vernon Chambers of Tidnish, NB; his step-children, Shannon (Randy) Stright, Ric Traynor (Dandan Chen) and Ryan Phillips; his grandchildren, Daniel Stright, James Stright, Jonathan Traynor, Sophie Traynor, Dylan Traynor and Aria Dawn Phillips-Duguay; great-grampie to Braden O'Watch and Greyson Estabrooks; his close family friends, Joy Fields and Mona Harnish Bowser, as well as by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Besides his parents, he was pre-deceased by his brothers, Harry Chambers and Jack Chambers.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Erin Campbell and staff of Campbell’s Funeral Home, Sackville (506) 364-8188. There will be a graveside service in the Bayfield Cemetery on Saturday, December 30, 2023 at 2 pm with William Drysdale, DLM officiating. All are welcome to attend.
