Obituary of Henderson Bradley Estabrooks

Sackville, N.B.- It is with great sadness that the family of Henderson B. Estabrooks announce his passing at the Sackville Memorial Hospital on Thursday, August 25, 2011. Born in Midgic, N.B. on December 11, 1926, he was the son of the late Jessie (Hicks) and Alder Estabrooks. Henderson was employed at Fawcett Foundry as a moulder for over 40 years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, but most of all enjoyed spending time with his family. Henderson will be sadly missed by his five sons, Benny (Deanna Cadman), Bradley (Linda), Leigh (Darlene), Donald (Heather Bulmer) and Robert (Heather Reid); five daughters, Gerry Hicks, Linda (Robert) Allan, Charlotte (Bill) Tower, Susan (Michael) Carter and Angela Parsons; one brother Nelson; two sisters, Rhobena Richardson and Juanita Wilbur; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was pre-deceased by his wife M. Myrtle (Marsh) Estabrooks; two sons, Gerald and Jack; one daughter Theresa; six brothers, Wesley, Lawrence, Davis, Alder, Vincent and Raleigh; three sisters, Hattie, Christina and Priscilla; granddaughter Victoria Lynn Estabrooks; two sons-in-law, Alex Hicks and Stewart McFee and daughter-in-law, Patricia (Hicks) Estabrooks. Arrangements have been entrusted to Campbell’s Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville, N.B. (364-8188). Visitation will take place at the funeral home on Sunday, August 28, 2011 from 7-9 pm. The funeral service will take place at the funeral home on Monday, August 29, 2011 at 11 am with Father Allison Carroll officiating. The burial will take place in the Sackville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Henderson may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or to the charity of ones choice.
