Obituary of Julia Marie Bulmer
Sackville, N.B.- It is with great sadness that the family of Julia Marie Bulmer, announce her passing on October 6, 2011 at the Sackville Memorial Hospital, with her family at her side. Julia was 80 years of age.
Born in Upper Sackville, N.B. on May 20, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Wesley and Mary Belle (Lerette) Sears.
Julia has been a member of the Sackville Seniors Club for 27 years, Baie Verte Club and past president of the Dorchester Seniors for 7 years. She was a loving wife, mother and a housekeeper for friends and family throughout her years. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Julia is survived by her three sons, Richard (Judy) of Wetaskwin, AB, Douglas (Karen) of Sackville, N.B. and Gerald (Rita) of Calgary, AB; four daughters, Linda (James) Hubert, Nancy (Bernard) Sears, Marjorie (Fred) Grover and Crystal (Danny) Legouffe, all of Sackville and surrounding area; one sister, Mildred Lynn of Vancouver, BC; fourteen grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was pre-deceased by her beloved husband of 51 years, William Warren Bulmer; six brothers, Robert, Beverley, Harold, Vernon, Lloyd and Wesley and by three sisters, Greta, Irene and Louise.
Arrangements are entrusted to Campbell’s Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville, N.B. (364-8188). Visitation will take place on Sunday, October 9, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, October 10, 2011 at 11 am with Pastor Barry Todd and Pastor Andrew Swanson officiating. Burial will take place in the Sackville Cemetery.
If so desired, donations in memory of Julia may be made to the Sackville Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, Heart and Stroke Foundation, Alzheimer’s Society or to the charity of one’s choice.
Julia’s family would like to say a special thank-you to Dr. Graeme Stewart and the nursing staff at the Sackville Memorial Hospital for the love and care they gave while Julia was a patient there.
