Obituary of Trevor Thomas Wheaton
It is with sadness that the family of Trevor T. Wheaton, announce his passing at the Sackville Memorial Hospital on Friday, January 6, 2012. Trevor was 76 years of age.
Born on April 6, 1935 in Midgic, N.B. he was the son of the late Rhoda (Hicks) and James Wheaton.
Trevor worked at Enterprise Foundry, for Irving Oil and ran Wheaton’s Burner Service until he retired in 1995. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, grandfather, uncle and friend.
Trevor will be sadly missed by his wife of 49 years, Donna (Estabrooks) Wheaton; five children, Cheryl Wells of Sackville, N.B., Tim Wheaton of Sackville, N.B., Chris (Kim) Wheaton of Amherst, N.S., Greg Wheaton of Sackville, N.B. and Stacey (Darren) Dixon of Fredericton, N.B.; brother, Arlen (Sharon) Wheaton of Shediac, N.B.; sister, Deana (Dolan) Chase of Moncton, N.B.; eight grandchildren, Matthew and Mark Wheaton, Megan, Melanie, James, Brittney and Alissa Wells, Paige Dixon as well as by his son-in-law, Jim Wells.
He was pre-deceased by his brother Eric Wheaton; in-laws, Lorne and Marion Estabrooks; sister-in-laws, Ethel Bulmer, Doreen Estabrooks, Isabelle Estabrooks and Pat Estabrooks; brother-in-laws, Bonar Estabrooks, Harley Bulmer and Keith Wyonch; niece Lorna Partridge and his nephew, Joey Estabrooks.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Campbell’s Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville, N.B. (364-8188). In keeping with Trevor’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 8, 2012 from 2-4 pm at the funeral home. The funeral service will be held on Monday, January 9, 2012 at 2 pm at the Main Street Baptist Church with Pastor Danny Barrett officiating. Burial will take place in the spring in the Midgic Cemetery.
Donations in memory of Trevor may be made to the Sackville Memorial Hospital, Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Diabetes Association or to the charity of ones choice.
