Obituary of William Arthur Driscoll

It is with sadness that the family of Bill Driscoll announce his sudden passing in Calgary, AB, on Sunday, February 19, 2012. Bill was 50 years of age. Born on January 5, 1962 in Halifax, N.S., he was the son of Lorraine (Woods) and Don Driscoll. Bill was a Corporal and a Field Engineer in the Army for twelve years. Bill will be sadly missed by his parents, Don and Lorraine Driscoll of Murray Corner, N.B.; his son, Michael Driscoll of Calgary, AB; three brothers, Ron (Vara) Driscoll of Bayfield, N.B., Steven Driscoll of Ottawa, Ontario and Gerry (Natalie) Driscoll of Riverview, N.B.; two sisters, Linda MacLeod (David McAllister) of Moncton, N.B. and Sandy (Todd) Greening of Wasaga Beach, Ontario and by many nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by his sister, Marion in 1989. Arrangements have been entrusted to Campbell’s Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville, N.B. (506) 364-8188. Cremation has taken place and there will be no visiting hours. The funeral service will take place on Thursday, March 1, 2012 at 2 pm at Campbell’s Funeral Home with William Drysdale, DLM officiating. Burial will take place in the spring in the Sackville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Bill may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
