Our hearts are broken on learning of this great loss.
I recall two chance encounters with Jenna since the days when I taught her music in Middle school: once in Moncton when she and her friend Megan bubbled with excitement and enthusiasm as they were just about to embark on their very first nursing classes, and another at last Fall Fair at the Fire Station Truck Draw, where she and Nigel and their families were celebrating happy news in her battle with cancer. Jenna had not changed...always showing hope and happiness and true joy in life and the love of those who surrounded her.
May the light and love of her beautiful soul surround you and comfort you in your grief.

It is with our deepest sympathy that we offer you our love and support at this time of such profound loss.
Like everyone who ever met Jenna, we loved her instantly. Jenna was the same person every time you saw her, as genuine and real as anyone could hope for. She brought happiness to every gathering and always had a smile of contentment on her face. She knew how to have fun and was able to bring that out in others. What a gift.
Jenna was respected for every role she had in her life: an intelligent, twenty-seven year old woman with a good heart and compassion for others; a daughter who was adored; a loving wife of two short years; a sister with whom she shared great memories; a granddaughter who brought much pride and joy; a daughter-in-law who was quickly recognized as very special; a niece and cousin to far away but close-to-heart family; a God Mother to her best friend’s first child; a best friend to several women; a friend to anyone she met; a colleague we’re certain was respected for the professionalism she showed, the knowledge she used to nurse her patients, and the sense of fun she undoubtedly brought to work with her; a neighbour who is remembered for the sweet kid she was; a community member who everyone gathered at a fundraiser to do whatever they could for her, and so, so much more was Jenna. She lived her life with integrity and will be remembered for her resilience, perseverance, strength of spirit, positive attitude, and will to live.
Jenna has taught us each a great deal. We will remember her as someone who earned many friends in a short life; someone who was loyal to those she loved, and a vibrant girl who found opportunities to live life fully. We are forever grateful for her example of strength and positivity, especially in the face of such adversity as her diagnosis.
We hope as a family that you recognize what an amazing human being you raised Jenna to be, a woman who will never be forgotten and who touched more lives than you may ever know.
May God bless you and yours with the comfort of His love and may you find strength in the love and support of family, friends, and community.
Without a doubt, Jenna will always be remembered. Our broken hearts tell me Jenna impacted our lives more than we know.

I find this hard to write, and it doesn't seem like it could possibly be true.
To all of Jenna's family and friends, my heart breaks for you all. What an amazing support system you all gave her. It was truly amazing and inspiring to see.
