Obituary of Alma Bainbridge
Moncton, N.B.- It is with great sadness that the family of Alma Mary Bainbridge announce her passing on Sunday, August 12, 2012 at The Moncton Hospital. Alma was 79 years of age.
Born in Middle Sackville, N.B. on December 4, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Alice (Richard) Leger.
Alma had been a resident at the Carey House in Moncton, N.B. for the last 15 years where she received wonderful care.
She will be greatly missed by her son, Richard Bainbridge of Williams Lake, BC; five sisters, Jean Hicks of Sackville, N.B., Louise Lorette of Moncton, N.B., Doris Chevarie of Sackville, N.B., Albertine Ward of Sackville, N.B. and Anita (Laurie) Gallant of Dieppe, N.B.; two grandchildren, Meghean and Jeremy; two great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was pre-deceased by her brother, Ivan Leger.
Arrangements are entrusted to Campbell’s Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville, N.B. (364-8188). In keeping with Alma’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visiting hours. A grave-side service will take place at St. Vincent’s Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery, Middle Sackville, on Friday, August 17, 2012 at 11 am with Father Allison Carroll officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Alma may be made to St. Vincent’s Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery or to the charity of ones choice.
