Obituary of Patricia Williamson
Baie Verte, N.B.- It is with sadness but peace of heart, that the family of Patricia Elizabeth Williamson announces her passing on Thursday, January 14, 2016 at the Sackville Memorial Hospital. Patricia was 74 years of age.
Born in Liverpool, England on November 30, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Gladys (Dobson) Shelley.
Patricia loved all kinds of wildlife, both birds and animals and enjoyed her garden in which she had many different kinds of flowers. She also spent many hours doing cross stitch, wall hangings and quilting. While in England, she worked as a nurse until emigrating to Canada in 1965 where she took up office work.
Patricia will be lovingly remembered by her husband, George; her daughter, Anne (Stephen) Goodwin; her son, Gordon (Tania); her sister, Barbara (Ronald) Lett in Ormskirk, England; her brother, Rodney (June) Shelley in Calgary, AB; her three grandchildren, Lesley, Stephanie and Benjamin; two great-grandchildren, Jacob and Anna and also missing her is her beloved dog, Ollie.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Campbell’s Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville, N.B. (364-8188). In keeping with Patricia’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visiting hours. A memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 71 King Street, Sackville, N.B. on Sunday, January 17, 2016 at 1:30 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Patricia may be made to the Companion Animal Trust at the Atlantic Veterinary College, PEI or to the Pedvac Foundation in Port Elgin, N.B.
