Obituary of Margaret LeBlanc
It is with sadness, but peace of heart that the family of Margaret Ena LeBlanc announces her passing at the Westford Nursing Home in Port Elgin, N.B. on Monday, December 7, 2015. Margaret was 90 years of age.
Born on June 22, 1925 in Oxford, N.S., she was the daughter of the late James and Ena (King) Shannon.
Margaret was a member of the Sackville Memorial Hospital Ladies Auxiliary and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Fort Monkton Chapter #11, Port Elgin, N.B.
Margaret will be lovingly remembered by her two sons, Michael LeBlanc and Brian (Vicki) LeBlanc; her daughter, Marlene (Brian) Doncaster; her grandchildren, Chris (Natasha) LeBlanc, Mark (Alison) LeBlanc, Jeff LeBlanc (Krystyna Fecteau), Garrett Doncaster (Veronica Baker), Brenna (Scott) Brady and Naomi (Dane) Patkai; her great-grandson, Owen LeBlanc and by several nieces and extended family.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Edmour LeBlanc in 1986; her sister, W. Gerene Steeves and by her brother, M.K. “Mickey” Shannon.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Campbell’s Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville, N.B. (364-8188). Visiting hours will take place at the funeral home on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 from 7-9 pm and on Thursday, December 10, 2015 from 12:30 pm until the time of the service at 2 pm. The funeral service will take place at the funeral home on Thursday, December 10, 2015 at 2 pm with Rev. Hal Lowther officiating. The burial will take place in the spring in the Sackville Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Margaret may be made to the Sackville Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, the Westford Nursing Home or to the charity of one’s choice.
