Obituary of Geraldine Estabrooks

It is with sadness, that the family of Geraldine Louise Estabrooks, announce her passing at the Sackville Memorial Hospital on Monday, August 19, 2013. Geraldine was 77 years of age. Born on July 5, 1936 in Middle Sackville, N.B., she was the daughter of the late James Aubry and Annie Ida (Wilson) Coombs. Geraldine enjoyed spending time fishing, gardening and going to bluegrass and music festivals. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. Geraldine will be lovingly remembered by her three brothers, Vernon Lewis (Margaret) Coombs, George (Harriett) Coombs and Marc (Angela) Coombs, all of Sackville, N.B.; brother-in-law, Mark Richard of New Glasgow, N.S. and by several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was pre-deceased by her husband, Corey in 2005; her son, Nolan in 1998 ; her daughter, Wendy in 2010; two brothers, James and Wilson Coombs and by her sister, Patricia Richard in 2011. Arrangements have been entrusted to Campbell’s Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville, N.B. (364-8188). In keeping with Geraldine’s wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service. A graveside service and burial for Geraldine will take place at the Four Corners Cemetery on Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at 3 pm with Rev. Vernon Vickruck officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Geraldine may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
