Obituary of Logan Carson Crossman

Logan has gone to be with The Lord on Sunday, October 13, 2013, as a result of a motor vehicle accident. He was a precious son, fabulous brother, cherished grandson and a terrific friend, who was known as a lover of life and who had a great sense of humor. Logan will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. Born in Moncton, N.B. on August 31, 1992, he was the son of Roland and Barbara (Carson) Crossman. Logan loved sports, especially basketball and football, worked at Camp Wildwood and was on student council in grade 12 at Tantramar Regional High School. He was baptised with his family, his parents, brother and sister-in-law in Silver Lake in Middle Sackville on Father’s Day in June of 2004. Logan was always laughing and smiling and loved being around his friends. He was the natural comedian and was gifted in improv. Logan will be lovingly remembered by his parents, Roland and Barb Crossman; his brother, Andrew (Jacqueline) Crossman of Edmonton, AB; his grandparents, Jim and Phyllis Carson and Geneva Crossman of Sackville, N.B.; uncles and aunts, Gordon Crossman, Vern (Brenda) Crossman, Eunice (Kenny) Laing, Audrey Crossman, Margaret Crossman, Cavell Crossman, Bob (Dianne) Carson, Don Carson and by several cousins. He was pre-deceased by his grandfather, Beverly Crossman; uncles, Charles Crossman, Jerry Crossman and by his aunt, Barbara Carson. Arrangements have been entrusted to Campbell’s Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville, N.B. (364-8188). Visitation will take place on Wednesday, October 16, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Middle Sackville Baptist Church Gymnasium. The funeral service will be held at Middle Sackville Baptist Church on Thursday, October 17, 2013 at 2 pm with Rev. Vernon Vickruck officiating assisted by Pastor Robin Burley. Following the service a reception will be held at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Logan may be made to Camp Wildwood, Sackville Basketball Association or to the charity of one’s choice.
