Obituary of Wanda Wood
Baie Verte, N.B.- It is with sadness that the family of Wanda Lee Wood, announce her peaceful passing with her family at her side, at the Sackville Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, December 10, 2013. She was 61 years of age.
Born on September 6, 1952 in Sackville, N.B. she was the daughter of Carl Trenholm and the late Aileen (Holmes) Trenholm.
Wanda was an avid exerciser, enjoyed zumba, walking, cross fit and was a life member of Weight Watchers. She was an animal lover, loved her job and going into work, dancing, listening to music and she was an avid Frenchy’s shopper. Wanda enjoyed cooking for her family on Sundays and spending time with her family and friends.
Wanda will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 42 years, Eric Wood; her father, Carl Trenholm; her brother, Calvin Trenholm; her sister, Susan Trenholm (Stephen Butler); three children, Leigh (Tricia), Tim (Tricia) and Meegan (Peter) and by four grandchildren, Keenan, Asher, Reed and Presley.
Wanda was pre-deceased by her mother Aileen (Holmes) Trenholm in 1995.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Campbell’s Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville, N.B. (364-8188). In keeping with Wanda’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation. A funeral service will be held at Campbell’s Funeral Home on Friday, December 13, 2013 at 2 pm with Rev. Robert Chapman officiating. The burial will take place in the Sackville Cemetery, after which, family and friends are invited to join in a reception at the Baie Verte Hall.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Wanda may be made to the SPCA, IWK Children’s Hospital or to the charity of one’s choice.
