Obituary of Milton D. Kinnear
Shemogue, N.B.- It is with great sadness, that the family of Milton Kinnear, announce his passing on Thursday, March 6, 2014 at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital in Moncton, N.B. Milton was 79 years of age.
Born on January 18, 1935 in Sackville, N.B., he was the son of the late Edith Milcent (Smith) and Leroy Milton Kinnear.
Milton was a man who loved life to the fullest, appreciated his life and took great joy in the simple things. He loved gardening; especially his tomato plants, peonies which were his favorite flower and he enjoyed nature and watching birds at the feeders. Milton loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Milton was the last surviving member of his immediate family and will be lovingly remembered by his two nieces, Barbara Estabrooks and Marlene Jones; many nieces and nephews from the Beer’s side of the family and by his beloved German Shepherd, Queenie.
Besides his parents, Milton was pre-deceased by his wife, Joan Beers and by his sister, Ruby Estabrooks (Smith).
Arrangements have been entrusted to Campbell’s Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville, N.B. (364-8188). In keeping with Milton’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. A graveside service and burial for Milton will take place on Saturday, April 19, 2014 at 2 pm at the Lower Knoxford Cemetery, Centreville, N.B. with Reverend Andrew W. DeRier officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Milton may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Twin Birch Lodge in Shemogue, N.B. or to the charity of one’s choice.
