Obituary of Leo Joseph LeBlanc
It is with great sadness, that the family of Leo Joseph LeBlanc, announce his passing on Saturday, July 12, 2014 at the Moncton Hospital, following a courageous battle with cancer. Leo was 71 years of age.
Born on June 20, 1943 in Amherst, N.S., he was the son of the late Leo and Clara (Casey) LeBlanc.
Leo was a kind and loving man who enjoyed his life, playing his guitar and painting. Leo loved his children and niece Diane very much. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Leo will be lovingly remembered by his 3 children, Loretta, Tammy and Paul; his three sisters, Yvonne Allison, Tilly Stillman and Joan (Bill) Richards, all of Amherst, N.S.; his special niece, Diane Jakubiec of Amherst, N.S. and by many nephews and nieces.
Besides his parents, Leo was pre-deceased by his three sisters, Gertrude Butcher, Norma Landry and infant Shirley Ann LeBlanc and by his two brothers, Roy LeBlanc and Bill LeBlanc.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Campbell’s Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville, N.B. (364-8188). In keeping with Leo’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or funeral service.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Leo may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of one’s choice.
