Obituary of Ena Wedel

Sackville, N.B.- Ena Sarah (Patterson) Wedel, passed away on Thursday, August 16, 2007 at Centennial Villa in Amherst, N.S. She was 101 years of age. Born on September 20, 1905 in Cookville, N.B., she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Flora (Flossie Robinson) Patterson. Ena and Bill operated a business named Cotadi Inn for nearly forty years in Oakland, California and returned to New Brunswick in 1960. Ena will be sadly missed by her brother William F. (Coreen) Patterson of Sackville and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her loving husband Bill Wedel; brothers Fred, Seward, Hersey and Raymond and her sisters Grace, Mary, Nina and Verna. Arrangements are entrusted to Campbell’s Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville, N.B.(364-8188). Cremation has taken place and there will not be any visitation or service as requested by Ena. Burial will take place at a later date in the Sackville Cemetery. Donations in memory of Ena may be made to the Sackville Memorial Hospital Foundation or to the charity of ones choice.
