Obituary of Margaret Wilkin

Sackville, N.B.- Margaret (DeVarenne) Wilkin, age 85, passed away at the Sackville Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, September 26, 2007. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Born in Middle Sackville, N.B. on February 6, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Leonie (Legere) DeVarenne. Margaret will be sadly missed by her son Robert (Elizabeth) and her grandchildren, Sarah, Joanna and Reece Wilkin, all of Quispamsis, N.B. She was predeceased by her husband David Wilkin; brother Frank DeVarenne; and three sisters Laura, Della and Helen in infancy. Arrangements are entrusted to Campbell’s Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville, N.B. (364-8188). Visitation will take place on Saturday, September, 29, 2007 from 9 AM until the time of the service at 11 AM at Campbell’s Funeral Home, with Father Allison Carroll officiating. Burial will take place in the Sackville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Margaret may be made to the charity of ones choice.
