Obituary of Earl Ivan Trenholm
Sackville, N.B.- It is with great sadness that the family of Earl Ivan Trenholm, announce his passing on Tuesday, June 17, 2008 at the Sackville Memorial Hospital. He was 68 years of age.
Born in Bayfield, N.B. on November 12, 1939, he was the son of the late Earl and Louise (Estabrooks) Trenholm.
Ivan was a truck driver and farmer for many years and will be remembered as quite a “workaholic”. He was a great family man and enjoyed family dinners, especially on holidays and loved a good game of cards. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and great-grandfather.
Ivan will be sadly missed by his wife, Shirley Mae (Richards) Trenholm of Sackville, N.B.; two sons, Robert (May) Trenholm of Midgic, N.B. and Kevin (Tracy) Trenholm of Calgary, AB; two daughters, Cindy (Harold) Oulton of Sackville, N.B. and Shelley (Alan) Fillmore of Sackville, N.B.; one brother, Albert (Irene) Trenholm of Sackville, N.B.; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brother Norman, sister Alice and his grandson Derrick.
Arrangements are entrusted to Campbell’s Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville, N.B. (364-8188). Cremation has taken place and family and friends are invited to attend a grave side service on Thursday, June 19, 2008 at 3 PM at the Four Corners Cemetery with Pastor Hal Lowther officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Ivan may be made to the Midgic Baptist Church, Diabetic Association or to the charity of ones choice.
