Obituary of Ingrid Veronica Young

Dieppe, N.B.- The passing of Ingrid Veronica (Welke) Young, age 47, occurred on Saturday, March 21, 2009 at the Moncton Hospital. Born on May 3, 1961 in London, Ontario, she was the daughter of the late Otto and Inga Welke. Ingrid was a Paramedic for many years, working in Nova Scotia. She enjoyed watching movies, going to yard sales and socializing with her friends at the hospital. Ingrid will be sadly missed by her brother and sister-in-law, Tracy and Twila Young of Nova Scotia; special niece, Lily Young; her Aunt, Mrs. Heinz Hendrix of Germany; cousin, Jurgen Welke of Ontario; chosen sister, Elaine (Lloyd) Landry of Dieppe, N.B.; Foster mum, Norma Gillis of Midgic, N.B. and her beloved companion, her cat Bandit. Arrangements are entrusted to Campbell’s Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville, N.B. (364-8188). Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or memorial service at this time. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Ingrid may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society Research Fund, Moncton Hospital Oncology Unit, Friends of the Moncton Hospital or to the charity of ones choice.
