Obituary of Edmund Edgar LeBlanc

Midgic, N.B.- It is with sadness that the family of Edmund E. LeBlanc, announce his passing on Thursday, November 25, 2010 at the Sackville Memorial Hospital. Edmund was 75 years of age. Born in Middle Sackville, N.B. on January 8, 1935, he was the son of the late Lea (Richard) and James LeBlanc. Edmund was a very proud member of A.A. for thirty-seven years. He enjoyed hunting in his spare time and was a loyal and devoted son, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. Edmund is survived by his wife of 38 years, Carolyn (Sears) LeBlanc of Midgic, N.B.; daughters, Judy LeBlanc (Bill) of London, Ontario, Mona (Rick) Wannamaker of Oshawa, Ontario, Peggy (Glynn) Hamer of Oshawa, Ontario, Natalie LeBlanc (Tom) of Dartmouth, N.S., Glenna (Allan) Everill of Parrsboro, N.B. and Terri LeBlanc (George) of Sackville, N.B.; son, Carl (Stephanie) LeBlanc of Amherst, N.S.; sister, Della Richard of Cap-Pele, N.B.; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son John; two brothers, Tommy White and Fred LeBlanc and by his granddaughter Christine. Arrangements are entrusted to Campbell’s Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville, N.B. (364-8188). The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Sunday, November 28, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at the Midgic Baptist Church on Monday, November 29, 2010 at 2 pm with Rev. Hal Lowther officiating. Burial will take place in the Holy Rosary St. Vincent Cemetery, Sackville, N.B. Donations in memory of Edmund may be made to the Sackville Memorial Hospital Palliative Care Program, Canadian Red Cross or to the charity of ones choice.
