Joshua Fraser

Obituary of Joshua Edward Fraser

Aulac, N.B.- It is with great sadness that the family of Joshua E. Fraser, age 30, announce his passing at his home on Thursday, March 17, 2011. Born on July 30, 1980 in Moncton, N.B., he was the son of Nancy (Siddall) and Bruce Fraser of Aulac, N.B. Josh was a member of St. Marks Anglican Church in Mt. Whatley, N.B. He took great pride in his work as a shepherd and bee-keeper helper, kept his own sheep and had an enormous passion for animals, especially for his dog. Josh loved to watch curling but most of all was the biggest fan of the Tantramar Titans Football Team, always making sure that he had time off work to watch them play. Even though he didn’t have children of his own, Josh was a great family person, and his pride and joy were his two nephews, Bergen and Ferguson. Josh was a loving son, grandson, brother, uncle, nephew and friend. If there were more people like Josh in the world, it would be a better place and he will be missed by all who knew him. Josh will be sadly missed by his parents, Nancy (Siddall) and Bruce Fraser of Aulac, N.B.; his brother, Jed Fraser of Aulac, N.B.; sister-in-law, Heidi Griffin of Sackville, N.B.; two nephews, Bergen and Ferguson Fraser of Sackville, N.B. and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his maternal and paternal grandparents and by his two uncles. Arrangements are entrusted to Campbell’s Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville, N.B. (364-8188). The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Sunday, March 20, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, March 21, 2011at 2 pm with Father Kevin Stockall officiating. Burial will take place in the spring in the St. Mark’s Anglican Church Cemetery, Mt. Whatley. Following the service, a time of fellowship and remembrance will be held at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Josh may be made to the Tantramar Titans Football program.
