Obituary of Kevin Dale Steeves

It is with deep sadness that the family of Kevin Dale Steeves announces his passing on Thursday, July 16, 2026 at The Moncton Hospital at the age of 66.

Born in Sackville, NB on May 10, 1960, he was a son of Louise Pearl (Cook) and the late James Hyram Steeves.

Kevin adored his children and his grandchildren. He loved the outdoors and being in his garage and shed tinkering and fabricating, especially enjoying building small trailers. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Kevin will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 42 years, Emma (LeBlanc) Steeves; his daughter, Chanelle (Jean-Pierre) Caissie; his son, Marc (Hayley Richard) Steeves; his brothers, Donnie (Anne) Steeves, Kenny (Debbie) Steeves, Alan (Donna) Steeves, James (Kristen) Steeves; his sisters, Donna (Victor) Hicks and Karen (the late Kirby) Sears; his grandchildren, Abigail, Josh, Maddy, Alyssa and Kevin, as well as by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Kevin was predeceased by his father, Jimmy Steeves.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Erin Campbell and staff of Campbell’s Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville N.B. (506) 364-8188. In keeping with Kevin’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will take place at a later date with details to be announced.  

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Kevin may be made to the Sackville Memorial Hospital Foundation, Canadian Diabetes Association-NB Region, Epilepsy Association of the Maritimes or to the charity of one’s choice.
