Joan and my mother Roberta Rutledge were the closest of friends. They shared family ties, hobbies and other interests together and always made it a point to do not only spiritual activities but also fun activities every week. When I picture them together it was like watching young women laughing and playing and telling each other stories of past and present events. I can't wait to see them again in the resurrection. Love and miss you both. Dianne Fournier”

And I heard a voice out of heaven say, “Write: Happy are the dead who die in union with the Lord from this time onward. Yes, says the spirit, let them rest from their labors, for the things they did go right with them.” Rev 14:13
Our heart goes out to you and know that we love and pray for you constantly.

Joan lived a full life enjoying the company of her loving family, she loved music and singing, she knitted slippers for every one she met, it was tradition to have a family meal at her home every week when she cooked and baked, every body chipped in and had a very nice time together.
We will miss her DdTG7

She was a lovely person and she will be greatly missed. I will have a beer in my garage as I remember her enjoying that with us a time or two. Until we see her again...

Sending love and warm hugs to all of the family. Joan was a very sweet lady, we had many conversations about everything, I always welcomed her knock at my door. One day she brought me some of her delicious Danish, and shared her recipe. She was a wonderful friend. Rest in peace Joan ❤️
