Dear Angelica and Monica, I am so very sorry and send along my deepest condolences. I have so many great memories of George from all of our trips Monica, Angelica and Tiana. I will always remember him with a big smile as we explored Pesaro and Fano as well as all of the other wonderful places we traveled too. George loved to travel and explore, but I think what he loved even more was getting to see the world and just spend time with his family who he so clearly loved so dearly. I am grateful for the opportunity to share these adventures and will treasure the memories. Thinking of you both.
Kris

Dear Auntie Angelica and Monica,
I am so proud to be the niece of Uncle George. He was the best big brother to my mother and a kind and loving uncle. I was amazed and proud to read about his advocacy and social justice work at Mount Allison and the award that is given each year in his name.
We send you both all our love and strength.

Dear Angelica and Monica,
Tara and I are so very sad to hear of George's passing, and want to extend our deepest condolences to you both.
I have so many good memories of George, especially for his help and support when Angelica and I published two books. He provided invaluable assistance through his photographic expertise, his assistance with budget preparation, and his sharp proofreading eye. Some years later, when I started writing for Business in Focus magazine, he helped me with research for my first article about Canada's economy at the time of Confederation, and the editor liked it so much that he made it the cover story in 2017. Those memories just speak to the man he was -- so kind and generous with his time and knowledge.
Thinking of you, Angelica and Monica, and sending light and love.

To George's family,
I want to express my deep sympathy at this time of such loss for you. I was a colleague at Mount A, and knew him to be a kind, generous presence, who even in the midst of tense labour relations was able to be civil, calm, balanced and fair. He was a very positive presence during some difficult moments, and he will be missed by all who knew and worked with him.

I was saddened to read of George's passing. In all the years that I knew him, George never failed to be pleasant. We were on the opposite sides of almost every issue at Mt. A during the ten years that I was there, yet there was never anything but a smile and genuinely respectful discussion. He greeted me when I first came to interview, and wished me well when I left. Please accept my sincere condolences Angelica on you loss of George.

George was one of my professors when I was a student, and I graded for him in my fourth year. Later as a colleague, I valued his friendship and advice. I remember the day he took me aside to tell me he was retiring, and I remembered his reasons about two decades later when I took the same step.
My condolences to both Angelica and Monica.
