Obituary of Kevin Leonard Wilson

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Kevin Wilson announce his passing on April 1, 2026 at the Sackville Memorial Hospital at the age of 68.

Born in Sackville, NB, he was a son of the late Frank Wilson and Rose (MacDonald) Wilson.

Kevin loved everything outdoors. He enjoyed gardening and hunting but was well known for his love of fishing which he enjoyed year-round. His favorite spots included Five Islands, Hospital Loop Road and various local streams. These fishing trips often turned into spontaneous off-road adventures which he truly enjoyed.  

Kevin is survived by his lifelong partner, Patricia Steeves; his daughter, Alanna; two grandsons, Dylan and Liam; his brother, Rick (Jane); his sister, Janet (Perry) Cormier; his sister, Marilyn (Stan) Fraser; his brother, Donnie (Rachel Cormier) as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Kevin was predeceased by his daughter, Shawna; his sister, Brenda Woodcock and his brother, Gordon.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Erin Campbell and staff of Campbell’s Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville N.B. (506) 364-8188. In keeping with Kevin’s wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no service.  A time for visitation will be held at the Sackville Legion on April 18, 2026 from 5-8 pm.

Memorial donations may be made to Sackville Memorial Hospital Foundation or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
