We are going to miss you Kevin , over the years usually from January to March I would have a list of people who wanted smelts , and Kevin would always be the first one to call and make sure his name was always on the list , and a lot of times he would call two or three weeks before I even thought of going for fish. But I never forgot his favorite meal It was always nice for Queenie and I to meet up with Kevin and just chat about everything, Kevin will always be in our memory, Queenie and Bruce

The Clinton, Cant, Hicks, and Wilson fishing expedition on the headwaters of the Gaspereau resulted only in a hole through the bottom of one of the canoes, but we had a marvellous time cooking bacon, but no fish, in the rain and downing 84 beers. I commented on an owl hooting in the distance. Kevin said that would be some owl. It probably weighed about six hundred pounds and had a black fur coat. It is the memories of such marvellous friendships and good times that sustain us as we live out our lives. God be with ye, Kevin.
