Obituary of Darlene Mary (Marks) Wells

It is with deep sadness and sorrow that the family of Darlene Mary (Marks) Wells, age 75, announces her passing on Friday, March 27, 2026. Darlene passed away at her home in Frosty Hollow with her husband by her side.

Born in Sackville, N.B. on May 5, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Earl Marks and Yvonne Marie (Gallant). 

Darlene enjoyed crocheting and was a bingo fanatic. In her younger years she enjoyed playing horseshoes and she especially loved her dog, Joey. Darlene will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.

Darlene will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 59 years, Stanley E. Wells; her daughters, Mary May Wells (Gary) and Tammy Lynn Wells; her sisters, Mary (Stewart) Warboys, Reta (late Ed) Traverse and Margaret (late Cuttar) Fillmore; her brothers, Charlie, Junior (late Frances), Dale, Norman (Barb) and Larry (Jenine); her six grandchildren, Cyrena, Kassandra, Jonathan, Michael, Ashley and Jamal; her great-grandson, Isaiah; her great-granddaughter, Ella; her sister-in-law, Edna Marks, as well as by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Besides her parents, she was pre-deceased by her sisters, Clara (late Russell) Rushton and Marilyn (late Gordie) Johnson; her brothers, David, Eugene (late Barb) and Gerry as well as by her son-in-law, Darien Lambert

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Erin Campbell and staff of Campbell’s Funeral Home, Sackville (506) 364-8188. In keeping with Darlene’s wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or funeral service.
