Stephen Randall (Randy) MacDonald

March 7, 1952-November 1, 2025

It is with deepest sorrow that the family of Stephen Randall (Randy) MacDonald announces his passing on Saturday, November 1, 2025 at the age of 73.

Randy was born in Sackville, NB to the late Everett and Barbara (Babcock) MacDonald.

Through Randy’s life he was a free spirit and enjoyed the solitude of fishing and being in nature.  Randy was kind, a colorful story teller and a good and true friend.  He will be missed by all that knew and loved him.

Randy will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by his sister, Deborrah (Debbie) Long; his nephew, Garry Long; family members and close and caring friends.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Erin Campbell and the staff of Campbell’s Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville N.B. (506) 364-8188. Following Randy’s wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be a Celebration of Life and reception at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 26, Sackville on Saturday, November 22, 2025 from 2-4pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Randy’s memory may be made to the Sackville Food Bank or to the charity of one’s choice.
