Obituary of Neil Frederick Leaman

It is with heavy hearts that the family of the late Neil Frederick Leaman announces his passing on Thursday, May 8, 2025 at the Sackville Memorial Hospital.

Born on July 17, 1954 in Moncton, NB, he was the son of the late Frederick Ralph Leaman and Elsie Laura (Branscombe).

Neil is survived by his wife of 48 years, Marilyn (Crossman); his children, Lisa (Jason) Ryan of Fredericton and Jason (Amanda) Leaman of Sackville; his grandchildren, Jade and Lillian Leaman; his brothers, John (Nancy) Leaman and Dean (Beverly) Leaman; his sisters-in-law, Susan (Laurie) Melanson and Caroline (Larry) Parsons, as well as by several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Neil was pre-deceased by his mother and father-in-law, Janie and Rolph Crossman.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Erin Campbell and staff of Campbell's Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville NB (506) 364-8188. In keeping with Neil’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life will be held at Campbell’s Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 13, 2025 from 1-4 pm. A private family burial will be held at the Westcock Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Neil’s memory to the IWK or a charity of one’s choice.
