Huguette (Turpin) Tweed

Obituary of Huguette Colette (Turpin) Tweed

It is with sadness and love that we announce the passing of our dear mother, Huguette (Turpin) Tweed on March 8th, 2025.  Mom passed away peacefully at her home with her family by her side.

Prior to meeting the love of her life, she worked as a teacher and a nurse. Mom and Dad married, and Mom dedicated her years to raising her children.

Mom had a love of music, in particular the French songs she grew up listening to. She was an amazing knitter, she liked playing bingo with her friends and she had a quick wit, a contagious laugh and a joie de vivre. She was a snappy dresser and a real lady.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 66 years, Fred; her children, Greg (Nancy), Paul (Norma), Larry, Michelle, Lynn (Randy) and Kevin (Angela); her grandchildren, Dominic (Tara), Justin (Jackie), Natalie, Amanda, Catriona, Denise (Luke), Nathan, Joshua, Kassandra (Colin), Brittany, Andrew (Nickie), as well as by her great-grandchildren, Kiera, Emmett, Megan and Tristan. Huguette is also survived by her brothers, Gerard (Carmen) and Pierre Marc (Louise); her sister, Roselyne (late Ken) as well as by her brother-in-law, Arnold (Glenyce) Tweed.  Mom had a large extended family who cherished their time with her and will miss her dearly.

She was pre-deceased by her parents, Donat and Rose Turpin; her brothers, Henri-Paul, Donald (Denise) and Jean-Maurice, as well as by her sisters, Michele and Lyse.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Erin Campbell and the staff of Campbell’s Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville N.B. (506) 364-8188. Following Mom’s wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be no service at this time.

On-line condolences and sharing of memories may be forwarded to the family through our website www.campbellsfuneralhome.com or by visiting the funeral home Facebook page.
