Randall Thurber

Obituary of Randall Arlie Thurber

It is with deep sadness that we must announce the sudden passing of Randy Thurber on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 in Whitewood, Saskatchewan.

Born on March 29, 1957 in Digby, NS, he was the son of Claire (Merritt) and Baden Thurber.

Randy was a proud son, husband, father, grandfather and brother-in-law. He had a love for life and knew how to live it. He shared his passions with his boys and taught them how to ski, camp, canoe and ride a motorcycle. He always wanted everyone to be as happy as he was. Once his boys had grown, he took Paulette as his wife and taught her the very same things. From the beginning of their relationship to the end they shared all of the same passions and values and had the greatest adventures. Everything was shared together and with their families.

Randy was a long-standing manager at Charm Diamond Centre in Amherst and played a major role organizing the Bordertown Biker Bash. He was a friend to everyone and will be greatly missed by his family, friends, community and his motorcycle club, the Defenders. You could not ask for a better son, husband, father, brother-in-law or friend. He wore his heart on his sleeve and he saw the best in everyone.

Randy will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Paulette (LeBlanc) of Sackville, NB; his mother and father, Baden and Claire Thurber of Sackville, NB; his sons, Kristopher Baden (Christy) Thurber of Lantz, NS, Kevin Randall Thurber of Amherst, NS and Justin Mathieu White (Karine Myre) of Gatineau, QC; his grandchildren, Sadie Noelle, Liam Kevin and Ella Rose; his cousins, Roger (Anne) Tidd of Saulnierville, NS and Sandra Milbury of Windsor, NS; his mother and father-in-law, Andrea and Donald LeBlanc of Dieppe, NB; his sisters-in-law, Joanne (Brenda) of Memramcook, NB and Monique (Elaine) of Riverview, NB, as well as by several cousins and many friends.
