Obituary of Patricia Barbara (Wry) Johnson

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our much-loved mother and gran, on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at the Sackville Memorial Hospital.

Born in Westcock. N.B., a daughter of the late Walter and Dorothy (Richardson) Wry and wife of the late Carman Johnson (2004).

Patricia was a faithful member of St. Ann’s Anglican Church, President of St. Ann’s ACW and member of the Lord Sackville Chapter of the IODE. 

The last surviving member of her family, she was predeceased by her brothers, Gerald, Walter, George and Leslie, as well as by her sisters, Hazel, Shirley, Queenie, Esther, Mona, Isabel, Mary and Bernice.

Survived by her daughter, Louise-Ann (Terry Trainor); grandsons, Andrew and Peter; sister-in-law, Alta Wry of Sackville; brother-in-law, Robert Johnson of Niagara Falls, ON, as well as by many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Dr. Ross Thomas and the RN’s and LPN’s for their care and kindness.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Campbell’s Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville, N.B. (364-8188). A private burial has taken place in the Westcock Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Patricia may be made to the Sackville Hospital Auxiliary, Sackville Food Bank or to the charity of one’s choice.
