Obituary of Reinhold Keehn
Dorchester, N.B.- It is with sadness that the family of Reinhold Keehn, announce his passing on Wednesday, March 18, 2009 at the Sackville Memorial Hospital. Reinhold was 88 years of age.
Born in 1921 in Etonia, Saskatchewan, into a family of 12 children, Reinhold was the son of the late Christian and Amelia (Cline) Keehn. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
His family moved to British Colombia in 1935, where he worked on ranches and farms. Reinhold was a logger and trucker as well. He was in the Armed Forces and served over seas for 5 years. In 1949, Reinhold married Joan Pavle and together they had four sons. In 1967, he moved his family to New Brunswick where they still reside.
Reinhold will be sadly missed by his wife Joan and their four sons, Richard (Dianne Taylor), Thomas (Debby Rutledge) and Daniel, all of Dorchester, N.B. and Darby of Thunder Bay, Ontario; twelve grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Reinhold is looking forward to the Resurrection and living forever on a Paradise Earth.
Arrangements are entrusted to Campbell’s Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville, N.B. (364-8188). Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation by request of the family. There will be a memorial service held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Sackville, N.B., on Saturday, March 21, 2009 at 2 PM with William Wowk officiating.
Following the service on Saturday afternoon, a time of reception will be held at Rick and Dianne Keehn’s home in Dorchester, N.B. 3457 Cape Road, Dorchester, N.B.
