Obituary of Eric Gordon Hicks

Sackville, N.B.- It is with sadness that the family of Eric Gordon Hicks, announce his passing on Wednesday, April 8, 2009 at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital in Moncton, N.B. Eric was 57 years of age. Born in Sackville, N.B. on July 3, 1951, he was the son of Jean (Leger) Hicks of Sackville, N.B. and the late Aurele Hicks. Eric will be sadly missed by his mother Jean (Leger) Hicks and by several Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Patricia Estabrooks and by his brothers, Dean Hicks, Allison Hicks and Randy Hicks. Arrangements are entrusted to Campbell’s Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville, N.B. (364-8188). Cremation has taken place and there will be no services at this time. Burial will take place at a later date in the Holy Rosary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Eric may be made to the IWK Children’s Hospital or to the charity of one’s choice.
