It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Jenna Ceretti on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont University Hospital Center in Moncton. Jenna passed away at the age of 27, following a strong and courageous fight with cancer, having impacted the lives of so many on her journey.
Born in Amherst, N.S. on May 27, 1991, she was the daughter of Karie Lynn (Langille) and Michael Marven Stokes.
Jenna was an excellent nurse and took great pride in her profession and helping others. Her happy place was the beach and she loved her time at the cottage with family and friends. She was married two years ago to Nigel and she loved the home that they made together. Jenna had a smile that lit up her whole face and was contagious to those around her. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
Jenna will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Nigel Ceretti; her mom and dad, Karie and Michael Stokes; her sister, Tara (Taylor) Corporon; her maternal grandparents, Bev and Dave Langille; her paternal grandmother, Mary Stokes; her parents-in-law, Keith and Rose Ceretti; her aunts, uncle and extended family and friends, as well as by her special dog, Baylee. She received amazing support from the community, but most importantly from her best friends, Megan, Victoria, Rebecca and Amy, who never left her side during her brave fight.
She was pre-deceased by her paternal grandfather, Marven Stokes.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Campbell’s Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville N.B. (506) 364-8188. In keeping with Jenna’s wishes, there will be no visiting hours or funeral service.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Jenna may be made to Ovarian Cancer Canada, Dr-Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital Foundation (Oncology Center) or to the charity of one’s choice.
