My deepest condolences to all of Emily’s family members.You are all like second family to us the Bourgeois.We were all like siblings living next door to one another the majority of our lives.Your mom always had time to come visit mom and dad and help one another in anyway they could..When I heard of her passing it made me reminisce of times I would return home for visits we always had time to talk and laugh of times gone by and she was always interested in our present lives asking about our children and so proud to speak and give updates of her family .Those were the good old days.She loved to laugh and many laughs we had over many years.I know I have fond memories that I will hold and cherish.I will not be able to attend but know my thoughts and prayers will be with you on the 22.Love you all.xoxo

Emily was a very special lady. She was like a second mother to me and I loved her. When I was very young, Emily looked after me when mom and dad were working. I remember us making oatmeal cookies which were my favourite. We would watch Chez Helene and with emily’s help I could speak French. My summers at Hicks Beach, I was at Fred and Emily’s cottage as much as I was at mom and dads. When ponchos were popular Emily got someone to make me the most gorgeous red and blue knitted poncho. I was so very proud of it. I wore it for years. Gary and I were just talking about Emily the other day. Kathy, Nancy and your families my deepest condolences. She will always hold a very special place in my heart.
