My sincere sympathy to the family and friends of Phyllis. She was a one-of-a-kind lady, and I always enjoyed being in her company. Phyllis was truly blessed to have Olga in her life, and I know Olga must be feeling a great loss right now. Olga's care and attention to Phyllis will be remembered in this community.

Thank you so much, Phyllis, for being a huge part of my life for the past 8 years...
I loved you through those years and I will cherish the wonderful memories we made, which included playing music together at the Marshlands Inn, Westford Nursing Home, Westford Villa, the Baie Verye Seniors Club...you on your Hawaiian guitar. You even surprised us with your yodelling, to the Wilf Carter tune Swiss Moonlight Lullaby.. Memories of the laughter you got out of playing cards with your partner, Mildred Peacock against Rae Blacklock & me.
The many Social Events we attended where there was food, oh how you loved food, especially when it came to the sweets.
We'd travel around to catch a dance or two,
have a Sleep-Overs at my place from time to time. Sitting at my table and sharing stories from your life growing up in a home filled with music, all self taught musicians...
I could go on and on but instead I am going to put together a DVD of the memories we have made...
Love you Phyllis.. Spiritual Hugs for you..
I first met Phyllis through her dear friend Olga. She had such a talent with yodeling and playing the spoons. She had many memories of Port Elgin of yesteryear that I was happy to have heard. May she rest in sweet peace, now that her life’s work is ended.
With condolences,
Kyle Wells
