Obituary of Donna Loreen Wheaton

Sackville, N.B.- It is with great sadness that the family of Donna L. Wheaton announces her passing on May 1, 2015 at the Sackville Memorial Hospital. Donna was born March 11, 1941 to Marion (Tower) Estabrooks and Lorne Estabrooks in Sackville, NB. She was pre- deceased by her husband of 49 years Trevor Wheaton in January 2012. Donna’s life was filled with joy from time spent with family and friends and serving God. Apart from life at home, Donna was very active in her church. Donna served as a Sunday School teacher at Main Street Baptist Church for many years, teaching little ones the love of Christ. Donna worked in the office of Fawcett Foundry then at Enterprise Foundry until her retirement in 2006. Donna will be sadly missed by her 5 children, Cheryl Wells of Sackville, NB, Tim Wheaton of Sackville, NB, Chris (Kim) Wheaton of Amherst, NS, Greg Wheaton of Sackville, NB and Stacey (Darren) Dixon of Moncton, NB; 8 grandchildren, Matthew and Mark Wheaton, Megan, Melanie, James, Brittney and Alissa Wells and Paige Dixon; great- grandson, Greyson Wells; 3 brothers, Lewis (Pauline) Estabrooks of Sackville, Bill (Inez) Estabrooks of Sackville and Jack (Sherrie) Estabrooks of Swift Current Sask.; 7 sisters, Margaret (Murven) Bulmer of Ottawa, ON, Barbara (Chester) Wheaton of Cambridge, ON, Eva (Ernest) Bowser of Sackville, Grace Allen of Sackville, Pat ( Everett ) Estabrooks of Sackville, Betty Wyonch of Orleans, ON and Carol (George) Estabrooks of Sackville; brothers-in-law, Ron Jones of Moncton, NB and Arlen (Sharon) Wheaton of Shediac, NB; sister-in-law, Deana (Dolan) Chase of Moncton, NB.; one precious uncle, Vernon Estabrooks of Sackville; son-in-law, Jim Wells of Sackville and by several nieces, nephews and cousins. Donna was pre- deceased by 2 brothers, Bonar and Bob Estabrooks; 2 sisters, Ethel Bulmer and Joan Jones; 3 sisters-in-law, Doreen Estabrooks, Pat Estabrooks and Isabelle Estabrooks; brothers-in-law, Harley Bulmer and Keith Wyonch; niece, Lorna Partridge and nephew, Joey Estabrooks. Arrangements have been entrusted to Campbell’s Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville, N.B. (364-8188). In keeping with Donna’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday, May 4, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at the Main Street Baptist Church on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at 2 pm with Pastor Andrew Swanson officiating. Burial will take place at a later date in the Midgic Cemetery. If so desired, donations in memory of Donna may be made to the Main Street Baptist Church, Sackville Memorial Hospital, Drew Nursing Home, New Brunswick Lung Association or to the charity of one’s choice.
